Noldes Hygge Hjem is situated on a quiet country lane in southern Jutland. You drive between fields and a handful of scattered homes to the old Danish farmhouse. As soon as you drive through the gate into the courtyard, you slowly leave the hustle and bustle behind.
The house is 209 m² in size and accommodates up to eight people. All rooms are located on the ground floor. There are three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms each accommodate three people, and the third bedroom is suitable for two people. The beds are already made upon your arrival.
Some of the rooms at the rear are in a continuous line. When the antique suite doors are open, a beautiful view through the house is created. If you wish to withdraw for a moment, the rooms and bedrooms can be locked off individually.
With two bathrooms and an extra toilet, there is ample space and comfort for two families, multiple generations, or a group of friends.
At the heart of the home lies the spacious dining room. There is room here for long breakfasts, eating together, playing a game, or a conversation that continues unnoticed until late in the evening. Adjoining is the cozy TV room with a view of the backyard and the fields. From this room, you can walk straight into the garden. By connecting or separating the rooms, there is space to be together as well as to find a quiet spot for yourself every now and then.
At the front of the house lies the spacious eat-in kitchen, overlooking the old courtyard. The kitchen has retained its nostalgic atmosphere and is equipped with everything you need to cook together. Adjacent to it, you will find the utility room containing a dishwasher and washing machine, among other things. Coffee, tea, spices, and some basic necessities are at your disposal.
There are various seating areas in both the sheltered courtyard and the spacious back garden. Find a spot in the sun in the morning, read a book amidst the greenery, or look out over the fields from the garden.
Children have plenty of space to play outside. There is a swing, trampoline, and outdoor toys, among other things.
Nolde has its own atmosphere even outside the summer months. Put on a warm coat on a crisp autumn or winter day, pour yourself a cup of hot chocolate, and find a spot together around the fire. As the marshmallows slowly brown and it gets dark outside, you won’t want to go anywhere else.
