Creating, being creative and social, but also being able and allowed to enjoy peace and quiet, that’s me! And when we had the opportunity to buy this unique location in November 2021, I immediately saw many opportunities to bring these qualities together here, and to share them with everyone who will visit this place.
I am Debby, 46 years old, married to Frank and together we have 3 children. We emigrated from Twente to Denmark at the beginning of 2018, where we have a dairy farm with about 250 dairy cows. This farm can also be visited during a stay at Noldes hygge hjem!
Why the name Noldes Hygge Hjem? Noldes refers to Nolde, the hamlet here. Hygge, perhaps the most famous Danish word! Stands for coziness, a certain fine atmosphere. And hjem means home. The name tells in 3 words that you will stay in a cozy, nice place where you will feel at home. And that’s also what I stand for, when you enter immediately feel the atmosphere of peace, freedom, coziness and feel at home. The only thing you have to do is enjoy a well-deserved vacation whether it is for a few days or a week or longer!
