Who I Am
Creating, being creative, connecting with people – but also cherishing peace and quiet. That’s who I am. When we had the chance to buy this unique place in November 2021, I immediately saw all the possibilities to bring these qualities together. A place where I can share my passion with everyone who visits.
I’m Debby, 47 years old, married to Frank, and together we have three children. In 2018 we emigrated from the Netherlands to Southern Denmark, where we now run a dairy farm with about 250 cows.

My Love for Denmark
Over the years my love for Denmark has only grown stronger. I often go out to explore the most beautiful spots, and I love to share them with you.
Out of this love a wonderful collaboration has grown with Tamara from Travelenmore.nl, the travel specialist for holidays to Denmark. From time to time, I write a blog for her website where I highlight my favourite places and tips.
Why Noldes Hygge Hjem
The name is simple yet meaningful: Noldes refers to the hamlet where we live. Hygge – perhaps the most famous Danish word – stands for coziness and a warm atmosphere. And hjem means home.
Three words that perfectly describe what you can experience here: a warm and welcoming place where you will immediately feel at home.
My wish is that, upon arrival, you’ll sense the peace, freedom, and coziness that this place offers. That you allow yourself to be embraced by the atmosphere, and only have to focus on what holidays are meant for: enjoying yourself.
